We care about democracy.

What is democracy worth to you?

Would you give $3 a month to support rural policies, laws and candidates that can help us move forward?

The goals of the Rural Engagement Project are to:

  • educate rural voters on issues that matter most to them,
  • engage with voters to encourage participation in the processes of democracy,
  • hold legislators accountable for their actions,
  • embrace rational, civic-minded rural values by modeling inclusion, respect and fairness in all of our actions, and
  • empower forward-thinking candidates to run for and hold elected office in rural Oregon.

All together, the Rural Engagement Project Board and myself have been doing political work for more than 100 years. We have ambitious goals, but these goals mean we need the support of those who love democracy to continue doing the advocacy and outreach work we are doing. If you believe, like we do, that holding our elected public servants to account and helping lift rural voices is a worthy cause, please use the button below and help make a difference in rural Oregon communities.

Thanks,

Kelie McWilliams
